"Land with all of your weight on one foot. That way you won't break both of them"

Had a co-worker fall off a ladder last November while putting Christmas lights up on the first story roof line of his house. He fell sideways and landed on one leg and ended up fracturing one of his lower vertebrae due the uneven force on his spine. He just returned to work the first week of February and is still in a back brace.

I thought your name was Danny, not Mark. You look like a Danny, not a Mark. If your name is Mark, please change to Danny so I’m not confused.

And it really don’t matter how you fall from, it’s that last 1/2 inch that will hurt ya.

I’m going to have to put this off until next weekend. Got to go the West Texas on Monday and have stuff to do before this happens.

Easy, make the wife or one of the kids do it.

A fall never hurt anyone. It is the impact that does the damage.

Back in the 70's, I was 25 feet up painting on the side of a horse barn at a youth camp. Gust of wind sent me on an adventure. I was able to hook the ladder with one arm. Ladder twisted and luckily it stayed against the building as it slide down slowing the fall to the ground. The bucket of red paint went flying. Was lucky the ladder didn't break my arm or worse. Not sure what the boss was more pissed about. The red paint everywhere or the long scratches/gouges the ladder put in the side of the barn.

May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!
