I fish from my dock in March and April and catch a bunch. And sometimes they've even started in late February. Has anyone started catching fish that are moving toward the bank yet? I can't scrounge up even a bite yet.

Saw several feeding in 3 feet of water or less today. Caught a couple of them casting a jig. Left them to the neighbor fishing from his pier.

Was catching males in 8-18” Friday and Saturday. Females pulled up late in the day both evenings. About 4:30 they would pull up and bite. Water temp 66 in my oxbow lake down here.
I can backlash toilet paper.

Well I didn't fish yesterday but did for about 15 minutes before dark. The crappie have started to move in. So March 3 is the first day I've caught crappie at my dock in about six months. They are on the move.

Can't catch any in our slip @ Whitney 10 to 16 ft. A lot of stripers and black bass is all we have now .
May your wiener schnitzel always stay above your lederhosein.
