Holiday Inn Express, Temple.

Good food within easy walking distance of hotel. Immediate I35 access, short drive to lake.

VRBO or one of those type sites. A lot of places on there and some are actually affordable.
I'm not staying at a hotel on the 35 corridor with my boat outside.
