I am not able to stand up in my pescador pro. I am 5'11" about 230 and would like to say i am semi athletic! Is this a kayak i should be able to stand in?

Also, does having certain plugs in impact stability? I have all but the ones under my seat open...Just curious.

Plugging scuppers doesn't have any impact on the stability of a kayak. Standing and fishing from a kayak depends on your sense of balance and hull design. I would say a Pescador Pro has decent primary stability given it's fairly flat bottom to stand, so you may need to practice some more when the water warms up. If after practicing you're still finding it difficult you may need to got to a kayak with either: a) more width, b) an even flatter bottom, or c) a pontoon style hull [think Ride 135].
