27 hours from this current 2021 season or reruns from last year?

schedule says 2021 Heritage cup.....I beleive it's 9 1/2 hours of original programming and remainder is re-airs.....their concept of a bass tournament is a huge improvement over previous years of TV coverage where you might get to see a few minutes of a 2-4 fishermen actually fishing then walking across a stage and weighing a bag of fish....
MLF by utilizing a 5 day elimination type event results in 30-50 fishermen (and their sponsors) get some TV exposure and the top 20 get a lot of exposure....the 30 minute All Angles show is a very interesting and informative TV show that gives valuable TV exposure to 5-8 fishermen and their sponsors.....

That Heritage Cup is from last year. I just watched it. They are up north wearing shirts and flip flops. No way its this year just based on weather.

It had more shallow water largemouth fishing than I expected. Enjoyed it.

That was one of my questions too? Are any of the tv broadcasts even remotely recent?
Seems like they always air events about 8-10months after they have them?

No, not really. Thats because what they are putting on TV, in respect of those “cup events” aren’t bonafide fishing tournaments, but are directed, choreographed, scripted, and highly edited made for TV fictional depictions of a bass fishing tournament. The production is low quality and budget so it takes a long time to put it all together. Some people want to believe these are real fishing tournaments, but there are people out there that believe WWE is real wrestling too, or day time soap operas are real families and their daily lives are being broadcast. The anglers involved sign NDA & high confidentiality agreements and are not allowed to speak about the production, locations, storylines, timelines, results, or anything relating to those episodes until after they air, and then it’s even limited and scripted as to what they can speak about. What you’re seeing is a lot of “TV Magic” and fictional depiction of what really happened.

Here is one of the stars of the shows:

Underwater shots of lures done in the swimming pools at the on set location... good stuff!
