They should have a show that follows up on the tiny house folks. The shows when they move in they are giddy as hell. I'm thinking a married couple 6 months in a 150 sqare foot home will be wanting to drop a plugged in toaster in the shower when the other is showering.

You should build a tiny house community.

The funny one is all the youtube series where they building a tiny home or off grid home. They have the marketing down pat, they know what to show to get clicks.....

Plenty of people happily live in small places. I follow Escapees and am also a member. I’ve been a full time RVer and planning to do it again in a few months with a 5er. You might be surprised how much fun it is to stop collecting things and start making memories. I never want to own a home again.

In general I agree that tiny homes on wheels are too small for full time life. Plus, for the most part they are not really designed to go down the road so the wander free promise doesn't really exist. I've seen a ton of them and when it comes down to actual weight, most are very tongue heavy and hardly any are actually built to go down the road with standard tow vehicles. For traveling small, I've tackled a smaller 24 foot vintage Airstream restoration. It's easy to tow and great for short trips and weekend getaways. It's much better to tow than a tiny house plus you can take it most places. Good luck finding a scenic place to park your tiny home at. I've been working on a small cabin design that will fit on very small footprint lake lots in a seasonal campground that would work well as a summer fish camp on a glacier lake. Here's what I've come up with so far. I'm limited to only 12 wide on this specific lot. Thoughts?

There is a new community being built on waterfront lots on the east side of Richland Chambers just south of the 287 bridge. They appear to be not tiny but really small narrow homes to make for more waterfront lots. It looks very cool the homes are different brighter colors.

I can say that there is no way I would ever want to move into one.

If I spend more than one evening with someone, I demand two toilets. Tiny homes, RVs in a place for two long, etc, just won’t work.
