Thinking about getting one of these but have a question for those that know. I currently have a minnkota fortrex and I am wondering if the foot control recessed tray that I use will accommodate the ghost foot control or is the ghost bigger?

Ghost foot pedal dimensions are
11 3/4”L 7 1/4”W 4 1/2”H
I think the Foretrex is
11 15/16”L 8 9/19”W 7 9/16”H
So it should fit just fine

Anyone have the new motorguide tour yet, I do like the way it looks best and it still has a metal foot control, and its still true cable steer. I kinda just like all that stuff.

When you measured, did you measure the Ghost pedal base, or did you include protrusions that exist on the pedal itself? While the actual base may sit in a given "box" the upper programmable button sticks out on the left side, and the speed control dial sticks out on the right side. It gets noticeable "wider" when you consider these may sit below floor level in a TM recess at some pedal angles. These are likely to go down into some TM recess trays because the Ghost pedal is more low profile that Minn Kota - a feature I actually like.

my boat (2019 Z519) came with a fortrex and the new ghost I just had put on fits fine FWIW

That's a good sign. I had not thought to be concerned about the pedal fit before I bought one (that is currently sitting beside the boat, not installed).
