I think Texoma is about the only lake that could produce the 7.5 smallie. So I picked 17# largemouth. OH Ivie says hold my beer.

I say the 7.5 cause I caught and released a smallie on Belton that would've tested that 7.5 if she had been full of eggs. My son caught one on Still House that would've tested it as well if she had been spawning.

The small mouth. Texas SMB record is 7.93lbs and there’s been four over 7.5lbs with somewhat recent catches. Oklahoma SMB record is 8lb 7oz. We can get some more within a half lb of them okies no problem.
I think our smallmouth record will be broke before yours. There's a 9 in the Pumpback.

Oh ye of little faith!
I have never seen anyone achieve something incredible who did not think first that it was possible.
Pretty sure we can fly a space ship to the sun. Likewise pretty sure we're not going to land on it even though I would like to see it happen.

Holy Cow its a dead heat!
I said small mouth because I know, not think, but know there are several, maybe over 100, that size in Texoma.
I dont know how many 17lb lmb are out there. Might just be less than a handful? Maybe in this place they are calling Ivie? Maybe a couple in Falcon? Holding deep getting big on tilapia all year. Now that they closed Squaw, that lake might grow a huge bass.

I vote SMB from Ray Robert’s This would be such a slap to the face of TPWD. A lake that has never had any stocked produce a state record!! All because a guide was catching them in Texoma and releasing them into Robert’s on his own accord.

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

People have been saying for years that they should invest in stocking small mouth in ray bob.

Money spent somewhere else.

I hate photobucket.
