Hello All,
I am looking to find some new spots to kayak fish from. I am looking for something a little more off the beaten path. I'm not looking for anyone's secret spot or honey hole just want to try and find a few more remote fishing spots that arent out on the main lake. this could be rivers creeks anything but would like to get out away from the busy and Hussle of the city and get in nature.

ACK had an app a while back for launch sights with user input.

Here are a couple sites that I have bookmarked. The Google Map link is older (I don't think it has been updated in 5+ years) but it has some decent info within it.... if you click on a pin, it shows written details of the launch site. Most sites are commonly known, but there are a few "off the beaten path" sites in there. https://www.austinkayak.com/launchpoint.htmlhttps://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1y0_mn1by5HGZ4nSvZXwqLuwh4F8&hl=en_US&ll=30.735103989346214%2C-91.117526&z=6 (for whatever reason, this won't show as a link... you will need to copy/paste it)

There is a fairly new launch on the Trinity river off Hebron Pkwy in Lewisville. I like to fish the river even though I have not caught many bass. Sometimes I get into sandies and have caught cats on spinner baits.. I normally paddle upstream when the current is laxed and then float and fish down. Otherwise I have my wife put the yak on her SUV and gear in back, I drop mine off at the cricket fields down in Coppell and I have her drop me off at Hebron launch. Nice 3-5 hour float down depending on how much you paddle and the current. Also when the water is up there are several retention ponds you can paddle up into, fish and explore. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/02/full-63423-86951-launch.jpg)
