That's some pretty top heavy weight right there! A lot of assistants to the assistants type karp. I don't think these guys affect me as I'm in an eastern border regulated system. Waiting to see if I got one of those $9000kw/hr charges.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

I don't recall ever getting a chance to vote on how our system is set up.

Vote for governor,
Governor appointed PUC,
PUC appoints ERCOT board, and
ERCOT board nominated and votes on each other.,

None of us had any say in how it was setup no matter the spin put on it.

If we did, I’d be on the board making Cheryl Mele 2018 money?

You mean renting a mini van and driving to the Grand Canyon is not epic?

If we are lucky they might hit up the buffet at the Bellagio and get crab legs...

They could probably do just as well with salaries capped at $150,000. Same with many school superintendents. Both ercot and school are governed by boards responsible to the public. Ercot board, I think is appointed by PUC, which I think is appointed by the governor. We can't blame them for their salary but can blame the ones responsible for them being paid so much.

I got something positive out of this blog-
Take my own TP or go buy some upon arrival-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!
