It's been all of them for me the past week. Got stuff sitting at a FedEx place in GA the last week. Got other stuff sitting in Austin at a UPS place for the past week too. I don't currently have anything shipping USPS at this time.

I don't get much of anything important in the mail, but there are usually a couple of pieces of junk just about every day. Since 2/14 I've received exactly 2 pieces of mail. Unreal.

Yessir last week affected all of them-
I wonโ€™t defend the post office in normal times, but this last week was unique-

You are not alone.

We did not get mail for 6 days. On the 7th day SUNDAY they brought 2 pieces of mail. Since then we have got zero. He is driving by every other house. He used to stop at every house... everyone got some sort of junk. Not lately.

Something changed.

UPS stopped by on Monday with their backlog. Fedex stopped in yesterday. Had mail at my office on Friday, then nothing until today. Still have alot of parcels floating around in the postal system that haven't gotten to me yet - one as far back as Jan 14th. Fortunately, none of it is terribly important, but it's still a nuisance.

I've used USPS for quite a few years shipping tens of thousands of dollars in gold, silver, rare coins, and so on. Have had rare instances of delivery failures, lost packages and the like, but they've been extremely reliable. Up until about six months ago anyways. Now it's a crapshoot whether something I put in USPS's hands - even an overnight express envelope - will actually get where it's going.

I really hope they get better.

Same thing here T.N. I also have Meds coming from Illinois and and hearing processor batteries coming from Miami, both are way overdue. Back in the day, people got better service from the Pony Express than we get from USPS.

I wish every vendor I used would go to ach, cancelling checks and issuing new one is a common thing now along with calling for statements that I never recieved.

fed-x delayed for 5 days. While setting in my chair yesterday bing my phone shows they delivered my order. No truck in front of the house no package on the front porch. I called today and told it was delivered yesterday and I told them no it was not. I have to wait for up to 4/5 days for them to respond. I paid the money I want what I paid for.

I got my electric and gas bill in the mail today. Kinda scared to open them.

I wonder if the electric and gas company will believe me if I tell them that they haven't showed up in the mail yet?

You don't belong to the new "Government Pay My Bills" program? It's supposed to work for college bills.

Ok with everything shut down locally for 3-5 days there isn't much mail being processed at the plant and no trucks have been able to get mail to your local post office from the plant so the plant will be backed up there has been more mail each day and hopefully by Saturday mail volume should be back to normal.
Hope this helps!

Looks like we are now getting our regular daily mail...

My concern : What happened to all the mail not delivered during those six days ?
