I don't get it. This guy just is not funny. I don't care about his political leanings so take that out of the equation. He just has no comedic timing, forces jokes and lacks being funny. I thought maybe I was missing his humor but when I researched him a bit that seems to be the opinion of many. The show ratings have declined 40% since he took over.

agree... it seems comedians have become ranting smart arses...
Just want to make folks smile, and spit coffee on their keyboard.

Its not political for me. I don't mind entertainers with different views than mine. I just do not find Noah funny at all. I wonder how many funny comedians got passed over for him.

They were before my time but I love watching their shows on cable. Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Red Foxx, and others.  Side note: I guess you would end up in jail if you said jokes like were told back in those days. This world has lost GOOD COMEDIANS ! Just my two cents.

Comedians today are all a bunch of "Political Hacks" ! The Comedians of the past said a lot of things all in good humor. Now you can offend anyone by just saying "Good Morning" ! Needless to say I watch all my comedians on Amazon Prime.

I agree with Mark P on this...the guy is horrible. He's so out of sync and tries to be funny. It's like he's vying for laughs.

Some of it's him, but a lot is the writers. When they lost John Stewart, they also turned over the writing staff. Add to that the folks they lost in the previous years, Steven Colbert, Steve Carrell, etc and they just can't make up for that kind of loss.
