Just moved back to San Antonio and live in the converse area. Anyone looking for a fishing buddy. I fish from banks since I do not have a boat. Hoping to get into some cats to put in the freezer. Please let me know or if you have any decents spots I can try out.

 to the forum! A number of SA guys hang out in the Bluegill/Sunfish section so you might get some good feedback there! Calaveras and Braunig lakes south of the city have good numbers of cats and also redfish of the transplanted variety. .

To the TFF! There are a lot of places to fish in the San Antonio/Converse Area. Converse North Lake has a very good population of nice Channel Cats. Guadalupe River, Perdernales River in Johnson City, Calaveras Lake, just to name a few places that are loaded with nice catfish. Good luck. Hope you find them.  Side Note: All above mentioned places are very bank fishing friendly.
