This thread went down hill fast

Brian Hall was okay with turning his share lunker in back in 2010. Wonder why he isn't okay with these youtubers doing the same? I mean he hauled his 14.22 pound fish in a livewell in March of 2010.

I do not know anyone involved, but it's funny to see y'all post vague threats and people getting all worked up about those guys coming to your home lake and catching them.

I believe he caught that fish and went straight to the ramp, didn’t haul it around all day long for pictures. I don’t know why you can’t understand what the man is saying?

It's ok for joe blow weekend guy to haul around fish in his livewell for club points but it's not ok for a guy that makes a living off fishing to do it....

I don’t get all the hate.

He is not the only one on that lake with Livescope. Last I checked A-rigs can be purchased at almost any store that sells tackle. Yet no one else I’m aware of has come close to doing what he has done the last few days. Maybe the guy is just that good.

The good news is a huge percentage of these fish will likely be inaccessible when they move up to spawn. There is so much water on that lake that is nearly impossible to get a bass boat in.

I’m also fairly certain he is targeting fish that are as lost completely unpressured.

Sure people will go to the lake and certainly have some great days, some will struggle, but I doubt anyone replicates what these guys have done.

In his defense, I also don’t think he was the one putting “Ivie” all over social media.

I can’t decide if these guys make me want to go fishing or sell my boat and gear.

If he put a 13 pound fish in a livewell and transported he did the exact same thing. You cannot be okay if it's you 11 years ago and then mad if it's someone else today. I guess you can, but it's kind of ridiculous.

That 14.22 was a 9000.00 pay day for me. I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to catch a fish like that and actually get paid to catch it. I wanted to turn it loose, the tournament directors and people that was there wanted me to turn it in. Not my decision really. If I could go back and change it I would. Still grateful! Obviously he doesn’t care about the fish it’s all about the extra click! Maybe he should catch your giant fish at your lake Douglas. Probably don’t have any that big to talk about though.

I’m pretty sure the lakes I fish don’t have 16 pounders swimming around in them.
And nope I’ve never caught any big fish.

But if he comes to my home lake and catches giants, good for him.

Those fish he is catching now can be caught when they move up I would be willing to bet . A lot of the fish in Ivie spawn in 12-15 ft of water . They all don’t go up on the bank .

Yes good for him and good for him here! I’m happy that him and his buddy that caught the 16 pounder( new lake record). Good for him too! I hauled mine for a reason not to put stress on her. We have a Great Lake and I would like to take care of it. I hope you get to enjoy this lake at some point.
