Looking to take the family on a little vacation. Any recommendations on a cabin/house that would accommodate 4 adults and two kids?

Plenty up there. Blue Beaver cabins all are pretty new.

I'd try and book one as soon as you can, there's 100's of awesome cabins, but it seems they're all booked up. I've stayed up there probably 5 or 6 times since around 08, and every time I've gone back it blows up more and more.
I've never gone this far north but I've heard if you keep going north towards Smithville there's alot of nice cabins without all the hustle and bustle that's around Broken Bow/Hochatown.

Last I heard they are 400 currently being built.

Last I heard they are 400 currently being built. There all kinds of beautiful cabins around Hochatown. If they are building 400 more, someone needs to start building some support businesses like grocery stores, restaurants, car washes, convenience stores, etc. There is not a lot of selection up there.

I was told they are going to build 1500 cabins just north of Hochatown, some man told my manager that he had seen the plans for the development, all I know is they are building them like crazy for the past 4-5 years.

Years ago it was a great secluded getaway with almost no cabins or crowds
Now cabins are a dime a dozen but priced like Park Avenue luxury because of the high demand

Yep, my family and I used to take the boats up at least once per year and it was great but last 2 times we went (2 years ago) we just didnât like it as much...love the country and the local places weâve gone to for years, just a lot more people now
