Good morning...

I'm not much of tech guy, but I just want to run the 360 MI on a single dedicated unit. I currently run two lowrance 12 3rd gens in the bow and console for my 2d side imaging and run a dedicated livescope system. I've not had any humminbird products, so you HB guys can please help, I'm so tired of looking around and reading and still not knowing what to get. I have a few of questions.

1. Which is the most basic and cheapest unit you would recommend getting to run this 360.
2. Can you buy just the head unit only without any other transducers? it wouldnt be installed anyway.
3. As far as installation, does the 360 plug straight into the head unit? or is there some kind of black box like the livescope has?

Thanks for helping me with this.

Yes there are units without transducers. They typically have CHO in the description. Pick the size screen you want in the Helix or Solix lineup and buy the DI version. Helix will be a button based interface and the Solix will have touch screen and buttons. The 360 does not have a black box and comes with the cables to plug into either a Helix or Solix unit. This lists all the compatible units and other info. https://humminbird.johnsonoutdoors....54288561.1614043723-760329017.1614043723

I use a 12 inch but a 10 would be ok, you can still run a sliver off map on the screen also.

HELIX 8, 9, OR 10 WITH MSI+ OR MDI+ (G3N/G4N)
