I also feel weird deleting numbers of people who have died. has me doing things to keep me occupied. So I’m going through my contact list on my phone and decided at 56 years old I’m an OLD. 7 people in my contact list have gone on to those 3 room apartments in the sky. Maybe I need to delete some phone numbers in my phone. Crazy to have phone numbers of people that can’t answer the phone. Check your contact list and see what you have!! It always makes me a tad sad at first when I scroll across their name, but over time I welcome the flood of memories during those unexpected moments when I'm just scrolling for a different number. It helps put things in perspective and often gives me a reason to reach out to mutual friends or their family to check to see how they are doing, or share a favorite memory...

I have voice mail on my phone from three friends who have died. I listen to them occasionally, Nice just to hear their voice.

My aunt started using my uncle's phone shortly after he died...she failed to tell most of us this...FREAKED ME OUT the first time she called me from his number.
I rarely delete contacts from my phone, unless it's a living person that has switched numbers.
