Always tough for a parent to watch their kid have a serious surgery (or even a minor one) like this. I'll say a prayer for your family.

One of my sons had a couple of surgeries there a few years ago. They do amazing work at Cook's.

Tell your son that I had the same deal in December - they went in my groin up to my heart and fixed a blockage with a stent. These guys know what they're doing.
I passed two months on the 17th and I'm 72.
They left the congenital Atrial Septal Defect (my heart murmur) which if known in 1966 would have classified me 4F. Oh well, I was shot at and missed.
Things work out the way they're supposed to.
Best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery. And prayers for Mom, too 🙏🏻

It sounds serious. And I know it is and ain’t easy for moms and dads to imagine. BUT! Kids are stronger and their bodies heal much faster than we do at an older age. I’m positive he will recover quickly and be so much better off afterwards.
