Drove DFW to East Texas area yesterday morning on I20, it was graded and in great condition. Got off on a County Road near Tyler and this is what I saw Saturday at 11:45

Glad I didn't have a boat behind me. Slow go of snow over ice!

Wow moving the lake on such a late notice is crazy I bet the people who put up money for this event are pissed.

I suspect no city is paying for the Redcrest right now, like for the Classic. Not without something that draws tourism. Once the convention happens and tournament site festivities then perhaps they can command a fee.

Tulsa gets next years as a make up so they may have paid something.

Almost 1/2 way through day 1 on Eufala with half the field with either
1 small or no fish yet.

How would that have compared to Palestine do you think?

Lots of ice still in Saline Bay when I drove over it this morning. They would be catching some but I'm sure it would be tough.

With all the big fish coming out of the state right now and the full moon I can only imagine, Palestine Redcrest what might have been.
