The coldest water temps I've ever fished were 39 degrees. I bet some folks will see 34 or so on their graphs. Please report back, just curious.

Most North Texas lakes were in 48-53 range before last weeks front. Longer and warmer days and shorter nights should have it atleast back where it was quickly. It’s not like the fishing was very good anyway...

If I recall physics class correctly, lake water temperature drops one degree for every 3 degrees of ambient temperature change.

Low of 39 to 46. Could not believe how fast it was warming up in some areas when sun was shining bright around 2:00. Wind picked up, cloud cover and water temps dropped fast. Was 41 when I got off water. Palestine

I believe when the water gets to around 50 the fish will feed like crazy, but maybe it won't even have to come up that much?

Water is most dense at 39 I believe. You won't find it much colder than that even when frozen on top. Some surface temps will get less but not far. Rayburn was back to 50 today in places

I did. And I did. It was thin and very slushy.
