Russia said Saturday that its scientists had detected the world's first case of transmission of the H5N8 strain of avian flu from birds to humans and had alerted the World Health Organization.
While the highly contagious strain H5N8 is lethal for birds, it had never before been reported to have spread to humans.
Popova praised "the important scientific discovery", saying "time will tell" if the virus can further mutate.

H5N8 is highly lethal to poultry and ducks but so far hasn't been a problem with humans and still has never been transmitted human to human. The seven Russians got it working in a poultry farm directly from infected poultry. All were asymptomatic and recovered. H5N8 is bad news for my friend, the duck. It's been going around the world the last few years with outbreaks reported across the globe.

call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.
