has me doing things to keep me occupied. So I’m going through my contact list on my phone and decided at 56 years old I’m an OLD. 7 people in my contact list have gone on to those 3 room apartments in the sky. Maybe I need to delete some phone numbers in my phone. Crazy to have phone numbers of people that can’t answer the phone. Check your contact list and see what you have!!

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right

I had a good friend who was also a TFFer pass on last year. I still have him in my contacts. I feel weird about deleting him.

Funny story, a couple days after he passed, I got a call from him. It was his son making sure I knew his dad had passed away. It was kind of awkward answering that call knowing he was gone.

Have you tried calling any of them to see if they get cell service in heaven?

Same here, can't wait for this mess to clear up and get her back to work. I've got to get back to my peaceful retirement. Plus, I have lure blanks that need painting.

I do it because I've had a spammer call and it show up as the number of a friend who'd recently died. I didn't like it, and let them know the same. Since then I delete.

If they were family, a friend, or close associate, I never intentionally delete them. It always makes me a tad sad at first when I scroll across their name, but over time I welcome the flood of memories during those unexpected moments when I'm just scrolling for a different number. It helps put things in perspective and often gives me a reason to reach out to mutual friends or their family to check to see how they are doing, or share a favorite memory...

One of my Fraternity Brothers that I pledged with back in Aug 1980 died unexpectedly in July of 2019. Still in my phone. He, another Brother in Houston and I would have extended three way text conversations about baseball (we just started this years 's because Pitchers and Catchers are reporting).

Feel sorry for anyone that ever ends back up with that # because we aren't going to stop.
