I have a 7'MH Glass that I use for throwing 2.5's. It has been good. I am not picky with my crank sticks like I am with feel rods so I won't spend a lot on one and these don't cost a lot. They are on level with Veritas Winch and BPS Crankin Stick as far as price if I remember. They had no warranty so Powell was able able to set the price point low for a better rod according to them.

I have one of the originals and love it. Almost every rod I own is now a Powell because of this rod. I do not know about the new models though.
