Anybody heard if they are gonna have vendor tents set up around the marina and allow spectators at the weigh ins?

I’m going to guess no on the vendors. [Linked Image]

Wil be interesting to see how they do. In the late 80s saw Kickapoo Creek frozen over the entire length of the Hwy 315 bridge and quite a ways out into the lake. Don't know if frozen now but given the temps would most creeks and coves to have a lot of ice.

In Canada the smallmouth bite pretty good soon after ice out. Not saying saying LM in TX would necessarily do that but ice out should be happening Fri/Sat/Sun and they start Monday. Yes, it will be interesting.

Surface ice for sure will thaw by Sunday with the warmth and the wind. I bet water temps in the morning on Sunday will be in the mid to upper 30’s and it’s going to suck [censored], regardless of what anyone says.

Will it be “better” for tournament time, sure it will. Quantity of fish will suffer but the quality is likely to be really good!

We almost had to get Zach Birge off of I-20 last night. He got stuck in the shut down from icing. He finally made it and said he is ready
