It just not the same as anything you have experienced in a Bass boat, been there done that!

Take two the night before and two that morning. Take a few with you just in case. Keep your eyes on the horizon. Don’t fixate on things in the boat, even your reel. Keep looking up.

I read somewhere that eating chili before leaving the dock will prevent sea sickness. You might try that, but take some dramaminie just in case.

Sounds like I shouldn’t make this part of my weight loss program and spare the kids. I’ll heed the infinite wisdom here in the OT. If this was a poll, it would have been overwhelming.

Think of it this way. If you don’t take it and get sick you’re going to regret it. If you do take it and don’t get sick you won’t.

Just go for it. If you don't you may later wish you had.

Take it, and understand it still may not help. Hop is right, when you lose sight of the horizon it can go down hill fast.

Take it. It will also help you when others start puking and it makes you want to. Eat crackers and bread to absorb the liquids in your stomach.

Talk to your doctor about prescribing a scopolamine patch. Should prevent sea sickness and allow you to enjoy the family.

I got sea sick once and took Dramamine, it didn’t help much. They told me to eat a sandwich and it would go away, they were right.

This is what I do now in the Gulf. Its like a washboard out there and the patch works.

I had never gotten seasick in 50 plus years. Then a number of years ago I had a bad case of Vertigo that left me with balance problems. Now I will get sick every time unless I wear the patch.

Put behind your ear 4 to 6 hours before you leave. It lasts for days.
