So do you have to put up the $30k for all the tourneys at the first one or just the $5K? I can see them losing half the field after a couple of tournaments if they aren't required to fish all 6 events. I guess they could fill those entries if they started a waiting list to join.

Piehole1, by recognizing nobody on the roster, it appears nobody is more of a nobody than you.

All anglers signed a 2 year commitment with options for a third year. 20k of the entry fees are due prior to the first event with the remaining 10k being due in monthly installments thru the summer.

I recognize about 30 of the names on the list and can honestly tell you some of them are regional or local hammers. A few of them like Biggs and Joel Willert have national Tour success as well. My guess is the field is still gonna catch them at most of the events.

Not true. Plenty of pros spend more than they win. Not to mention tournaments exclude guys paying and entry fee over xxxx, not guy who won xxxx.

Need to tell them to update the angler list, your not on their angler page on the website. Of the ones listed I recongnized 3 names, didn't know their faces but have seen their names on the old FLW tour results.

Basically I’m just saying if you go off strictly winnings, particularly winnings vs expenses, very very few pros are making a decent living.

The guys who do fish Pro or Not it will not be allowed to fish tournaments with rule "anyone who pays x amount of dollars in entry fees will not be allowed to fish this trail".

Part of the problem with professional fishing is that the majority of the angler marketing dollars are thrown at names you recognize but are no longer as good as they were at catching fish but presumably still catch the retail buyer so they can afford to fish well past their prime.

There are some really legit anglers on the NPFL such as Biggs.

And the best part is that they will not be ramming 14 buy this plug (punn intended) down your throats after a good finish or fishing out of a boat with 42 carpet decals on it.
