My Wife said "This is good weather to make chili." That does not mean her, that means me. I had to get half of the fixings at HEB and the rest at Wal-Mart. Yes, the beans were wiped out. Except for baked beans. There was still tons of them. I found 4 packages of chili seasoning mix on a top shelf. I took 2 and put the other 2 on a lower shelf.

Went this evening and they had everything restocked! Meat, milk, eggs and everything else.

No Ramen noodle, but did find 2 boxes hiding top shelf so scooped them up!

Who TF heats their home with a small 5 gallon propane bottle? Nobody in the line had any of the large 4’ tall bottles, only 1-2 were olds, so I doubt the rest were RV people/ winter Texans.

No hoarding involved, but on our trip home, we stopped at Home Depot to buy faucet covers. We called first to see if they would have them. The lady says, "You'd better hurry. 2 hours ago we had four big boxes. Now we're down to one." We hung up and looked at each other, and the race was on. Increased speed of car by 10mph. Got to the store and it was "Honey Hickory Ham" all again at the Home Depot. I believe everybody that I seen in store had these in their hands. The only thing that I didn't have to do was run full blast through the store and slide into other displays, in order to secure my "ham". It was fun and wifey and I got a kick out of it.
