Fished my last Rainbow Trout Stocking day for the stocking season. Temperature was a nice warm 26 degrees when myself and friend Jeff were walking to our wading spot. It was an overcast day and needless to say we were the only ones at our spot. We limited out with in the hour and released a bunch more. Gold Super Duper Lures and the Berkley Orange Power Worms got great results. We also spotted some HUGE Striped Bass swimming in the current chasing some of the trout. That was a site to see. As we were walking back to are truck we passed the stocking site where the fish were dropped. There were only eight people fishing. Love this cold weather. Good times chasing Rainbow Trout. Always makes for an AWESOME day !

Laker I can remember in my younger days temperatures below freezing would not bother me what so ever. Now I much prefer staying in a nice warm house thinking of you guys out there catching those super fish. Good job guys nailing those trout. I would have loved seeing those Striped Bass chasing those fish. I have seen them many of time topping water chasing minnows. If you can catch a school of Striped Bass topping water you can have some "Non Stop Action" . Again nice post.

Great post Curtis. Looks like no more stockings until late November. It has been a great Rainbow Trout Stocking Season for sure ! thumb

Side Note: Just curious. What did you catch most of your trout on? hmmm
