Global warming refers to changes in climate.

Not necessarily independent weather events. Rather a trending of those over a period of time.

But yeah this is pretty freaking cold I could go for some of that warming LOL

Place I worked at in the early 80s in Garland had their gas and electricity cut so they could be diverted during high demand.

Yep, Our plant in Lancaster is shutting down until next Thursday for gas curtailments.
