I am looking for a 112 lb 52 inch ultrex with I Pilot. I would prefer a unit not more than 2 years old. I am in Houston. I can pay shipping, but would prefer a pickup.

If you don't have receipt MinnKota goes by date of manufacture. So you can buy a 1 year old and still get warranty based on that date. Course not as long as buying new from dealer, but price can be significantly less too. I got a new Ulterra still in the box for my CC for $1800 where buying from a dealer was $2500. I can still get warranty for 2 years. but saved a lot and it was worth it to give up a few months warranty for $700. All depends on risk/reward and what kind of deals you can find.

Only good to original owner.

Only good to original owner. They didn’t ask me for a receipt when I took mine in. They only looked at the serial number. I did buy it, brand new....but somehow, I don’t think would have even mattered. I was never asked where I bought it, when I bought it, if I had a receipt, if I was the original owner. Just was told to bring it in and they’d fix it ASAP.
