Anyone else lose power? Mine out (and thousands of others in Temple/ Belton/ Killeen area) since yesterday at 3:50 PM. Came on for 40 minutes early this morning ( enough time to check TFF Birthday Calendar) before out again. Just came back on. Typing as fast as I can. Oncor Energy SUCKS! Will not keep tree limbs trimmed back on overhead power lines. Can't count the number of times we've lost power in 20/21. Rant over.

Californian transplants running you power company? Man I don't know, but paying 50-60 bucks monthly in Oncor Delivery Charges and the bastages can't keep the power on cause of tree limbs, probably so.

I called Oncor every few months because I was constantly finding burned up sticks in my yard from a tree that had long grown into the lines. Neighbors had the same problem on both sides. Took them 2+ years to come out, which was the regular schedule. They never even considered coming out earlier.

The City of Greenville has GEUS, city owned provider, they have dedicated crews that trim trees away from lines year round. Biggest problem here is if a storm pushes an entire tree over into lines.
