When will you start throwing it? ... if not already!
How many and what different baits will you have on with it?
What is your favorite bait with it?
Which color out of these 2, top or bottom?

Me depends on water clarity. Bottom though with the little bit of yellow looks good.

I can't buy a bite on those hard jointed swimbaits. Zero confidence. I'll keep throwing ole' faithful red rattle traps, though. It's a good looking bait, but not for me. GL!

I always start throwing red in February, have been doing that for many years now. I like the bottom color better but I am throwing it in rattling style baits and flat side square bills.

Cool paint. If those are slow sink I can see them working with a rip and pause retrieve. A few years back I lost a giant early spring fork bass on a delta demon red 316 freestyle fished over the top of a grass flat.

Now until at least mid March. The redder the better. I use traps and warts and square bills.

Ticking the grass on Fork years past provided some awesome fish & memories! You definitely knew you had been fishing @ the end of the day.

I'll throw it a little during Jan but I won't be serious about it until the water hits mid 50's. Until the bugs come out of hibernation, it is more of a reflex than a real feed for the bass, imo.

To me it's hard to beat a 3/4 oz trap. Probably what I throw the most in the top color.

E.J. I like throwing the flat sided baits too! I'll throw red a little at different times all year, but like you start throwing it a lot in February.

I also like throwing spinner baits and chatterbaits in red too, and most of the time like a gold blade, but sometimes will throw a painted blade.

Definitely chucking and winding all day would make you feel it, many times I'll have to pick up a plastic bait and throw it just to let it soak just to get a break from the constant work. When I was younger it wasn't much of a problem.

On the spinnerbait at this time of year I used to throw one with an orange colorado front blade and a gold willow leaf blade in the rear, but now I mostly throw chatter baits instead of spinnerbaits, although im still not sure why because I haven't done that well with them.
Maybe one of these days I will hook up with a big one on the chatter bait. I keep hearing that it is a big fish bait.
