I was digging through some old photos in a digital file and found some pics I'd like to share since we are in the tail end of the TX trout fishing period. This fish was taken out of Monarch Lake back in my home state of CO. It hit a 00 MEPPS spinner on an ultra-light rod spooled with 2 lb line.

Brown Trout. 26 inches long and weighed a bit over 7 1/2 pounds. Normally I would turn a fish like that loose but it took the lure down deep and was bleeding from the gills when I landed it so it ended up in the smoker.

Cheers Y'All

Good memories right there. I have some old pictures of my dad holding some nice bass. As we say here in the Bluegill Section. "Lifetime Memories".
