Hi folks, as it's February 2021, I'm posting up about the 2021 offshore charter fundraiser for the RRHS BAPS on the Kingfisher out of DSH in Port Aransas, Texas.

As the title states, charter is scheduled for Saturday August 7th, 2021. We had a great trip in Aug 2020, and hope to do the same this year. It is a 12 hour charter.

Cost per person is $210 based on 20 fishermen/women. Charter cost went up $10 per person based on 20 going, so we have to increase total cost by $10.

Same as 2020, all money goes to DSH & BAPS, NO money goes to T.O.O.

Feel free to look over the post from 2020, same everything except it's $210 instead of $200 due to increased charter cost.

This will be a tuna hunting shrimpboat run & gun trip,(and whatever else swims by), if the boats are in range. They were within 3 hours last Aug

There'll probably be bottom fishing over rocks somewhere depending on time, action, & location offshore. Last year we dropped at Ranzels.

5 spots have already been spoken for, so we're off to a good start.

We'll start taking deposits March 1st, Right now reserve spots and be ready to pay a deposit come March 1st. Email is the only way to reserve spot(s). PM's won't work & your email will be seen a lot faster.

Deposit will be $110, due by April 30th, balance due July 19th,2021 will be $100 based on 20 going.

If we have less than 20, the difference will be paid by all to get to the 20 person total of $4,200.

Gonna be a great trip, fast boat, good crew, enthusiastic captain, and hungry tuna.

You know Tiffany and I will be on the trip if possible.

For those who don't know, the action can be fast. They follow shrimp boats. The boats harvest shrimp but return a large by catch and the fish in the area know it. When you pull up behind the shrimp boat and the crew throws out chum the fish rise to the bait. So long as we keep working them the fish will follow our boat.

We did not catch any large Yellowfin last year but some of the largest of the year get caught this way. I will be ready for them.

Oh, you know I'm in - I'm not gonna miss a TOO special. Sign me up for 1 now. It's a bit far ahead but I'll work on rousting up a few others.

I may be game for this gotta check when I get home but I havent heard of a yellow caught behind a shrimper here in Texas in quite a looooooong time? That stated the blackfin are awesome and much better than at the floaters and you have a great shot at dorado and sails.

Howdy folks, it's March 1st, 2021 & I'm hoping everyone made it through the bad weather with minimal problems.

Want to get folks remembering and planning on securing spots on this offshore trip.

If Allison1 & T do commit, we'll be at 9 committed folks, with one interested. That's a good start.

Look for an email by Wednesday with details on the trip regarding deposit, final payment, and all else.

It's a fun trip with a ton of bent poles, money goes to a good cause and everybody wins.
