The lithium re charges faster so that alone is enough reason, when you make a short run with a 4s mercury your gaining 10 percent or more of a charge on that lithium battery. If you have an outboard motor that needs 24 volts to start that'll be a first for me. And AGM's aren't worth the money. They don't last any longer than a $80 Walmart battery in most cases.

What are you talking about? You clearly missed my point entirely..... not surprising since you think wet cell batteries are as good as agm.

What Jeff meant, is that with all the graphs that he is running, a person needs a starting battery and a dedicated electronics battery. Or buy a big lithium to save weight and only have 1 battery to serve all your needs.
