my first baitcaster , Garcia 5000D , someone coined the phrase " knuckle buster " --- the dang handle would turn backward when the drag was going out and tore up your fingers .
Great reel to learn how to "thumb" OR else

I used to have and fish with a bunch of those Diawa PS2 lefty's. Moved on to Shimano and never went back. Eventually the Diawa's got to expensive.
