Yep, waiting here as well. We were supposed to fish Granbury this Saturday ( West Division ) just waiting to see when and where the make up will be. I do hope that a different lake is picked other than Granbury ( let me be clear I like Granbury ) but I had a buddy that fished a tourney last Saturday and he said there is a fish kill starting to happen, fish floating all over past the hwy 51 bridge leading up in to the river.

If only i had enough time to make one more cast!

They were postponed Saturday. On the website and Facebook and the app. I will post it on here as well. Dates and times will be announced as well

I don't envy THSBA on this one. I can't even imagine the calls, emails, and social media messages they were getting from the momma bears out there not wanting their baby to freeze. I probably would have made the same call to postpone. With that said, my calendar is pretty much full every weekend from here to May. I'm sure that is the case with most people who have high school age kids.

I'm sure it was nuts.

Imagine getting kicked in the nards 100 times and it will be worse than that.... If they cancel, there will be a bunch of guys saying "it wasn't that bad" or "I've fished in worse". If they don't cancel, it will be "why didn't you cancel"?
It's a no-win situation for the board members. Give them some time, re-scheduling is a nightmare.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I was in no way bashing or speaking bad of THSBA. I definitely would not want to do what they do, but I sure appreciate it.

I'm just waiting to see if they move it to the weekend that I'm supposed to go on a ram hunt.

And hoping they move it to a different lake than Granbury

If it was my ram hunt, you could guarantee that it would be the same weekend, lol.

Didn't take what you said as bashing at all.

They replied to a question on Facebook that the events would be rescheduled in March but said they will not give the exact date until after the entry deadline to avoid confusion.
