My Buddy's Late Afternoon Monster Strike!

That was a good day for me. I needed fish for a fish fry & i managed to land several decent sized fish for my friend Chief Charlie to transform into our dinner. I was about to leave when Dustin's rod exploded! He had placed his drop shot on the edge of the channel drop. That area is known for large fish transversing the channel.

Luckily i was able to dig out my action camera to record most of what transpired as i was leaving. I also videoed Dustin at night on another outing in exactly this same spot where i fought my giant GT the year before. Mr Jed has recently started his own YouTube Channel "Seagull Fishing Hawaii".

To bad he lost his fish. Makes the next catch a whole let better! Love the sound of pealing drag!
