Last couple of weeks weather was rough with wind, etc. Not much posted... miss all the updates from everyone.

I am planning to go Saturday. Weather man has changed the wind forecast 3 times in 3 days... but at least it looks nice - as of todays forecast.

Hopefully I will be posting some good ones after tomorrow. I’m hoping they turn on before the front hits tomorrow. I was hoping for a little more wind than they are forecasting for but gotta play the cards you are dealt.

I am taking a friends that has never done the winter drifting thing before. I hope I can get him a good one or five. His biggest catfish is about 5-6 pounds. I think we can break that. Fingers crossed

Hope you had a good trip.
I fish Cedar Creek most of the time, have a place there.
Took my wife and son out this morning... weather called for clouds clearing and shifting wind. They got the shifting right, but missed the temperatures and the rain we got. About froze my wife!
Caught a few eaters, but nothing big.

Well it was not a good trip. We graphed good fish in 2 different areas and made 2 long drifts thru them. Could not get a big bite to save our lives. Biggest we caught was around the 9 pound range.

Always next time. I’m ready to see what the water temps do with this front coming in next week
