Was looking at the forecast for Basschamps on Toledo Bend next weekend, 23 degrees at daylight should make that first 20 mile boat run extra enjoyable.... especially for my partner in a single console boat.
After the initial shock factor of the temp drop they’ll go right back to eating. Buda...if you're interested, I have a SavePhace your partner could borrow so they don't freeze their retinas while running. Buda’s fishing partner already dug out his motorcycle helmet. He’s no dummy.

Well after today, I feel like most fish have settled in some spots no matter the temps. If they bite or not is a different story. Had another awesome “evening” with biggest being 6lbs and smallest at 4.2

What’s y’all’s thoughts on the weather change? I think still it’s winter! And I think you forgot to say where you caught such a stringer! 🤔😁. Seriously though we have had a mild winter for sure. Reality is we just started February so a little winter is still left. Hope summer is as mild as winter has been so far! Nope, Gimme that 105 degree weather where I am the only one on the water!

I’m fixing to sack them up again in ETX!!! Weather ain’t changing till Wednesday now. Hopefully at the end of the month we see the normal/traditional patterns start working again
