Has anyone been fishing Allyn's Bight in Aransas Bay? Can I get a 22' Pathfinder style bay boat (drafts about 15"/has jack plate) up in there with the lower water levels this time of year?

I haven’t been in years, but I used to take my 21’ Kenner tunnel hull up in there all the time. If it is to shallow, just fish the entrance or fish the north side of Mud Island. I have caught lots of fish there.

Yes you can. You won't be able to go into the back lakes obviously and towards the back on the right it gets shallow so stay to the left side (side with the camp house). Just on the inside of the point lately has been good for drum.

You get out of it what you put into it!
