The catfishing was great in Shady Shores this morning. I caught about twenty and had a monster break the line at the boat. They were in the sloughs in 10 - 15 fow. The biggest was the shallowest. I guess they think winter is over.

The big fish follow the bait and as warm as it has been the bait and fish are moving shallower in the afternoons.

They sure do have a big surprise coming. they haven't been able to settle into a real winter pattern yet. The wind and the weather go from one extreme to the other every few days. I caught bait in 20 FOW today. A few days ago I caught them in 40'. Gotta be on your toes these days. If the forecast holds true for next weekend, I might have to skip out until it warms up...
