Im interested to see if this event will fill up. Im also interested on how people that have fished their entire lives are suppose to figure out if they have won more than a 100grand. I def don't have that problem but they need to fix the wording of that rule. My guess is about 400 boats per tourney enter.

Yup, I didnt put that part in, I assume people will be turned away at every tourney. The exposure is already off the charts. This whole thing is a marketing genius. Its on local news and radio, I've had people call me to discuss it that maybe pick up a fishing pole once every two years.

Absolutely. Can't fault the man for figuring out a way to stay in the game and probably make a ton of money. People can say what they want about JM, the man is smart and has figured out a way to make a dang good living in the industry.

I just read the entry requirements it says you must own one of his boats, provide the registration serial number etc, but do you have to fish in that boat?
You Must be an owner of a white river marine group boat (Tracker, Ranger, Nitro, Mako, Sun Tracker, Triton and Tahoe) with a properly aerated live well
When registration begins on February 10th, you will need:
Boat serial number Copy of Registration, Title or Bill of Sale Contact information for you and your fishin' buddy

Given it will be on live TV, I bet you have to fish out of a wrmg boat.

The rules I read on their website, like that one, were not clear at all.

The rules I read on their website, like that one, were not clear at all. "Interpretation and enforcement of these rules will be left exclusively to the Tournament Director." Its pretty clear what they are trying to accomplish, but you are correct the wording is vague. I expect an addendum to the rules will come out. JM praised his dealer network thru all of this so I am sure dealer bought boats are eligible just as BPS bought boats are.
