Fishing for prespwn bass at an area I know and hooked into a giant which at first I thought was just a big catfish. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.postimg.cc/Y2T5SgkZ/FB640-C41-5-F3-E-4515-A3-AC-0-D46060-A1-C52.jpg) Was glad to have captured this one in video. Personal best and possible fish of a lifetime!

Minute 2:49 is awesome... that two seconds of video conveyed the emotion of the catch very well!
For what it's worth, I agree that it's quite possibly a DD. The simple length conversion says +/- 8.5, but she was a FATTY!

That's a beauty!!! It always cracks me up when I see how much fishermen spend on all their gear yet rarely do any have a good set of digital scales.  Ya know it's going to haunt you forever not knowing if it was a DD or not?

Just really wish I had her on a scale to have the proof. Next thing in the list to buy is a good scale. Not going down this road again lol. And thanks to everyone for the kind words. Iām still super happy to have caught that fish weight or not!
