Good evening all can I get any pointers for whites and crappie on lake Conroe i moved in the area a 1.5 years ago from Huffman. When I did get the chance to fish for them I would do so on the San Jacinto river and lake Houston, I am not familiar with lake Conroe. I have been on it a few times, I do not own a boat or any electronics I do have a kayak so any pointers would be much appreciated.

With that setup I would fish the far north end of the lake and river from now until mid March for whites. Main lake points would be a pretty good bet the rest of the spring with no electronics.
As for crappie. Hit the back of coves now-March. After that with no graph, standing timber will likely be your best option.
You could have some catfish fun during the shad spawn as well.

Thanks for the tips and locations they are very much appreciated. Any particular coves you can name if you don't mind?
