Right now indications are such that the market as a whole is going to drop. The only things going up are likely to be the reddit targets and maybe a few random ones that have good quarterly reports. So you need to find out where the reddit folks are heading next, or hang out before pushing into the general market for longer-term investments. If AMC dips on Monday, feel free to buy, but be prepared to sell quickly if it peaks.

This is pure gambling and not investing. Unless someone stands to make hundreds of thousands of dollars, and not a few thousand, then there is too much risk that most people can’t afford. None of these “investments” significantly improves your personal net worth or adds financial stability to your family.

I thought about SVL last week but did not do it. I have a junk of cash and have been thinking about a short term play. I have not been willing to risk the money I have set aside to pay off my mortgage. Might be too late for the SVL play.
