 I STINK (SKUNKED)

Yes believe it or not I took a SKUNK home with me this w-end.... It's been so long since I've smelled this bad I got a good laugh from it.....I tried almost every trick I know and NOTHING that I tried worked......
I fished from 6fow to 25fow in every area the wind allowed...... Think I needed live scope.....LOL
I did bring two fish in the boat one blue cat and one yella bass but not a one crappie......
Water was really off color in all the areas I fished....56° water temps.....

It happens SK even to the BEST! A bad day on the water makes the good days a whole lot better!

I would agree with you , but then we would both be WRONG !!!!!

Ha Ha brother I have had that happen more times than non. I actually have a skunk cap that I will wear on video when I get nothing. Unfortunately the last time I did that I thought I took it out of the boat so did not make for good video! Happens to us all. I hate this time of year. Give it two weeks and it will be good again. These fish, even with Livescope become stealth fighters and not matter what you have they are undetectable. Hang in there!

It must have been really tough if you didn’t catch anything. I’m sure it will pick up and get better in the next few weeks.

Sorry to hear about the skunk SK. Just remember the skunk day the next time to fill the box in a couple of hours with slabs to keep it all in perspective.

I often say that dang wind protects more crappie than anything......I did enjoy the challenging times and would def do it all over again...... Thanks y'all
