I was checking the mail today and received a 1099 from Ohio. It turns out I’ve been collecting unemployment up there. I mentioned it to some buddies and apparently it’s happened to quite a few people. Pretty sorry

A few former high school classmates of mine in Kansas have been getting the State Debit Cards sent to them. They called the authorities. Cops there said it was getting pretty common.

I've had 7 people apply to an open position recently. I've left voice messages and emailed all 7. Haven't heard back from one - not quite fraud, well maybe on one hand it is actually.

Thank God for the worker visas I get - I haven't found a gringo blanco who wants to do this work in 14 yrs in business. Not even my sons - they lasted one summer each.

It did come with a insert on identity theft with a website to report it so I did that immediately and checked my credit reports so I should be good just frustrating. I also saw that you can freeze your credit was thinking about doing that.

It’s something the department said people need to be on the look out for. Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted said that 796,000 of the state’s 1.4 million claims made under the federal pandemic program have been flagged for potential fraud.

I bet all 796K of those voted for a certain Democratic candidate for President! OMG

I don't think pay is the problem
