I have a question ? Notice in the picture at the bottom where the live scope ducer is
it is tilting In wards on the bottom of the ducer. When I had this on my ranger boat I believe it wasn’t so where did I go wrong Re installing ? Also can this effect the picture because since I moved it it seems the quality pic isn’t as great.

It looks like u have your transducer tilted up slightly. Also you may look into a zero degree livescope mounting bracket. It will eliminate the inward/outward slope of your transducer and will allow for better accuracy

It looks to me like you have the mounting bracket upside down. It should be cheating outward away from the boat, not in. As slabrador said you can get a mount with no cant, which is what I would do.

Only thing I can think of is when I bought the new boat and had them re install it from the ranger boat they used the canter tilt bracket. I bought the pole ducer from shut up and fish , where could I find the brackets online at. ?

Take the mount apart. You will see arrows on the inside mount that attaches to the transducer. They should be up. You currently have them down.

So I guess I need to cancel my zero degree mount I ordered and fix the one I have. Seems like I tried this before I will give it a look thanks David.

Hey jig master once u turn the bracket right side up you will then have a kick away/outward instead of the kick inward. That factory bracket is ideal for mounting on the trolling motor shaft but in my humble opinion the zero degree bracket seems to be better suited for isolated livescope pole mounting. It takes some of the guess work out..hope this helps

Thanks and you are right I flipped it up and just like David from shut up and fish said the up arrows was facing down.
It is now chanted out so I ordered the zero degree one. Also you are correct it was originally mounted on my troller motor on my other boat. Thank you both for your help. Go get em.

Well I thought I was getting the whole assembly but it turns out they only sent the one side. Becareful if you go on eBay. This seller had good ratings and shows like 3 pictures of the whole assembly then the last picture is just the one side. It wouldn’t be so bad if I hadn’t had cracked the main side the other day when David mentioned flipping it to the arrow up position as I tightened the little bolts too tight. I found the whole assembly plus new stainless steel bolts online through another vendor for the same price. Again thanks for the help I just thought I would share what I learned about the one on eBay.
