Had 28 lbs with Scott on his second day

Falcon has been kind of a grind the last few weeks but from
what I’ve been hearing all the lakes around the state have been
pretty tough so I guess it isn’t all bad, we’re still landing or at least
having shots at landing some really nice fish. The lake is on a slow
fall and water temps have been between 69 in the morn to 74-75 in the
afternoons. The shad are scattered and that’s what has the bass all over the place
IMO, we’ve been catching fish in 2ft all the way out to 20 still , school bus fishing, just
picking one up here and one up there but it’s Falcon so any cast. Soft plastics and some crankbaits
have been doing most of the work and pretty much as always around here rock is the key factor.
I have plenty of open dates, let’s go fishing!!

Chris is down from Boston, we had a 20+ mph north wind all day
but still had some solid fish. Chris caught his PB in the first 15 min a
8.11 lber.

Are the afternoon water temps still getting into the 70's?

Day 2 for Chris was solid, no PB but a nice sack
of fish. Not much has changed except water temps
61-65, lakes still around 381/2 ft low

They had been but I never saw anything over 65 today

Got to go out solo for a few hours today. Lakes
holding steady at around 381/2 ft low. Water temps are in the
Low 60’s and the fish are starting to get full of eggs, we keep this weather
and it won’t be long. County ramp still ok and launching at the state park
is still off the dirt point.

Falcon’s been tough the last few weeks, quality is good but
numbers have been low. It seems with the water temp getting bk
into the 60’s the fish are cooperating a little better and fish are
definitely moving shallow. We had our fish today in 4 ft and less for the most part.
The lake is right around 40 ft low,concrete in town, dirt at the sp but no issues at either one.
